President, Theresa Garza Ybarra
Born and raised in San Antonio, Theresa earned a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Rice University, in Houston, Texas. After working for the San Antonio Public Library for more than a decade, Theresa finally went to library school and earned her MLS from Texas Woman's University in December 2011. Theresa enjoys showing people all the resources available to them at their library, reading Harlan Coben, watching The Walking Dead, Downton Abbey, and Game of Thrones, and making crochet preemie hats. She would really like to meet Jack Reacher, but not Lee Child.

Secretary, Andrea J. Silva
Andrea has worked at the San Antonio Public Library for 15 years beginning as a volunteer at the age of 16 and eventually getting hired as a part time employee at age 17. Currently, Andrea is working towards her BA from the University of the Incarnate Word.

Treasurer, Dexter Katzman
Dexter earned his BA in English and Spanish from the University of Minnesota/Minneapolis in 1970. He joined the Peace Corps in 1973, working in Central American and Washington, D. C. until 1983. From 1984 to 1986, he was with the Department of State in Nicaragua and Honduras. In 1988, he received his MLS from the School of Library and Information Studies, University of Wisconsin/Madison. He has worked in public, academic, and special libraries in Wisconsin (Madison), Texas (Kyle, Austin, El Paso, San Antonio), and New Mexico (Sunland Park/Las Cruces). For the past five years, has served as a Branch Manager for the San Antonio Public Library. As a life member of REFORMA, he has been active in New Mexico and Texas.
